THESE ARE BRIGHT STUDENTS, AND IT'S ENJOYABLE TO SEE THEIR ENTHUSIASM FOR THEIR PROJECTS.

WE WILL ALSO BE TRACKING A LOT OF THE PROPOSED BILLS THROUGH MABE AND ALSO TESTIFYING AS NEED BE SO BUSY SEASON BETWEEN NOW AND APRIL 13TH. THIS PAST MONTH THERE WAS SOME ACTIVITIES THAT I DID WEDGED BETWEEN THE HOLIDAY.
NOT GOING TO GET INTO ALL OF THOSE, BUT I DID WANT TO POINT OUT THE SUPPORT STAFF OF THE YEAR.

THOSE ARE STUDENTS WE RECEIVE FUNDING FOR.
IF YOU'RE A TIER ONE STUDENT, YOU RECEIVE FULL FUNDING.
IF YOU'RE TIER TWO STUDENT, UP TO 360% OF THE POVERTY LEVEL, YOU RECEIVE PARTIAL FUNDING.
AND THAT BECAME AN ISSUE WHEN YOU HAVE TO START ADDING TEACHERS TO STAY WITH YOUR 1 IN 10, ONE ADULT TO TEN STUDENT RATIO. AND WE'RE HAVING TO ADD MULTIPLE TEACHERS AND WE'RE NOT RECEIVING FUNDING FOR THOSE STUDENTS.
SO THAT'S A CHANGE THERE THAT YOU SEE IN PRESCHOOL AND PRE-K.
YOU CAN SEE A LITTLE BIT OF A DECLINE IN OUR ACTUAL K TO 12 FUNDED ENROLLMENT.
WE DO GET THE HIGHER OF THE TWO, EITHER THE ACTUAL ENROLLMENT OR THE THREE YEAR AVERAGE.
AND YOU CAN SEE THAT THE THREE YEAR AVERAGE HAS BEEN HIGHER FOR EVERY YEAR EXCEPT FOR FISCAL 25, WHEN OUR ACTUAL ENROLLMENT NUMBER WAS WHAT WAS USED FOR OUR FUNDING.
SO I GET HOW THE THREE YEAR AVERAGE IS A PARTIAL STUDENT, BUT FOR THE ACTUAL SEPTEMBER 30TH ENROLLMENT, HOW IS A PARTIAL STUDENT? IT COULD BE DUAL ENROLLMENT STUDENTS.
THERE'S A LOT OF THINGS THAT THEY TAKE INTO ACCOUNT. SO WHAT PERCENTAGE OF THE DAY A STUDENT IS IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM VERSUS AT THE COLLEGE? THAT'S USUALLY WHERE YOU GET YOUR PARTIAL STUDENTS FROM. DOES THIS THING.
OKAY. SO THERE WOULD BE A ONE? CORRECT BLUEPRINT FUNDING. SO THE FOUR BLUEPRINT. WE RECEIVED A POT OF MONEY FROM THE STATE THAT COULD BE UTILIZED IN ANY WAY.
